If you are a Progressive, a Democrat or a Liberal….stay away from all 4th of July fireworks, ceremonies or parades…..Harvard has a new study out. These celebrations may just turn you into a right-wing extremist who hates the poor, loves the rich and hates any minorities.
Harvard researchers David Yanagizawa-Drott and Andreas Madestam found that kids who attended one rain-free July 4th celebration before the age of 18 were four percent more likely to vote Republican before the age of 40. And whether or not they went to the polls, young Independence Day revelers were more likely to identify with the right wing by 2 percent.
This study might change the weekend plans of some parents who want to ensure their kids remain left-leaning, but if you’re willing to cast aside the ideological implications for a rocking Fourth of July celebration instead, look to the red states. The study notes, “Republican adults celebrate Fourth of July more intensively in the first place.”
So if you are a patriotic person who loves their country, believes in one Nation under God, stands quietly at attention when the national anthem is played…..according to the academic elite you are a right-wing, racist tea-partier in the making.

Progressives out there…..here’s a way you can attend a 4th of July celebration without turning into a right-winger. Grab the first flag you see and burn it. If there are any soldiers or veterans in the crowd who complain…spit on them and call them baby killers.
