Isn’t it humorous, the press seems to like to point fingers at the politicians for not getting a deal done on time? But when the government continues to squeeze out the private sector and the economy continues to struggle we don’t know what to do but more of what is causing the problem in the first place.
The governor is obsessed with the Marxist notion of “from each according to his ability to each according to his need.†The problem with his argument is communism is contrary to our constitutional republican form of government in which all citizens are to be equally protected under law,(.†Life, Liberty and propertyâ€). The idea that we can single out one group and treat them differently than the rest of the population just because they have something we don’t and steal it from them because we out number them shows the truly debased nature of this evil doctrine.
If we really want to solve the budget problems that are occurring throughout the USA we need to return to first principles of the framers. All should be equally burdened with paying for and all should receive equal benefit from those policies of the government. The government was never intended to be a charitable organization. The government is granted limited levels of force to give it enough authority to protect our liberties, not to give an envious greedy violent mob the “right†to steal a minority’s property.
It is my prayer that we would all come to our senses before we turn into Greece.
