Walker to be in Hudson this afternoon for bill signing ceremony

It will be against the law to possess and use synthetic marijuana in all of Wisconsin, after Governor Scott Walker signs a bill to that effect this afternoon. The Republican Walker will sign the measure in Hudson, where he’ll also sign a bill to generate funding for the proposed new four-lane bridge over the Saint Croix River just north of Hudson. Wouldn’t it be cheaper for the taxpayers to just sign the bill in Madison? Now the local cops have to call up off duty officers for security and close streets and venues.

I agree with you. PR is costly, and I don’t care if it’s Walker or Obama. If these guys wanted to pay the bill for there little trips, that would be just fine.
Do you know Obama has had 70 golf outings since taking office? I guess he’s #2 or 3 on the most frequent Presidential golf outing list.
He also has held 30 fundraisers since taking office (and since he does a little speech in front of some group the trip qualifies as a Presidential outing, so taxpayers, and the Chinese, foot the bill). At this stage in his presidency, W had 3.
I’ve become a very strong supporter of term limits.
