I would like to know how many of those single mom’s of color or not who are on the tax payer’s dime. I have kids who do not live with me but I pay an amazing amount of child support and I am happy too do it. Love my Kids and it’s my responsiblity. I am tired of paying for those that are not mine!

cmbuck, it’s discouraging to me to see comments such as yours. Skin color is not the determining factor in someone holding a job or taking care of their responsibilities as a parent. There are plenty of all colors who seem to lack in those values. If you want to make a comment on social behavior, at least have the inteligence to leave race out of it. I don’t care what color someone’s skin is, if they portray themselves as contributing members of society, they have my respect. And I am primarily a conservative Republican, but while we on the subject, there are plenty of corporate welfare programs that could be cut long before we go after cutting programs to single mothers.

The birth of a baby is a gift and a wonderful thing regardless of whether it is white, black, brown, yellow or somewhere in between. People are all the same and I don’t think the world will suffer at all as a result of this process.
