I think it’s great that this treasure has been updated. Growing up in Superior in the 60′s I remember seeing the Tower lit up at night. I’m sure the new lighting will rock, but I’ll always miss that green neon-like lighting of old.

If I recall correctly from past articles, I believe these new lights are capable of displaying an array of colors, so they can change them seasonally or whenever. So maybe they’ll have some green colors that bring back those memories.
Hot debate. What do you think?

Two thumbs down for my factual, unopinionated, uncontroversial, unpolitical response to Jeff’s comment. I see the stalkers/trolls are after me again.

I agree David….the thumbs serve absolutely no purpose. Once a comment gets so many thumbs down, it gets hidden and no one reads it. Or if it gets so many thumbs up, it turns green, so everyone is supposed to think it’s a great comment. Let people read the comments and make up their own mind.
