Kloppenburg concedes state Supreme Court election
May 31, 2011 at 6:26 am in Pierce County Herald
JoAnne Kloppenburg said late this morning she would not challenge the results of this month’s statewide recount of the Supreme Court election in which she lost to incumbent Justice David Prosser by just over seven-thousand votes. Continue Reading

“It’s expected to cost taxpayers in the neighborhood of a half-million dollars – but Kloppenburg said today it was worth the cost to do a check on the voting process, and protect its integrity”

Worth a half million dollars? A half a million dollars? It was a total waste of money no matter how you look at it. She couldn’t admit she lost so it cost the tax payers a half a million dollars. That makes her a thief in by book!

And yet Kloppy supporters don’t want to pay for voter ID to be put in place. I would venture to guess that there have been more illegally cast ballots in past elections than incorrectly counted votes. Can’t wait for it to be instituted. We may find that our ‘purple’ state is not so purple after all?!?

“Kloppenburg said many irregularities remained in Waukesha County, where the clerk failed to count 14,000 votes from Brookfield on the April 5 Election Night.”
The votes were counted, but Kloppy declared victory based on media reporting of votes instead of waiting for the certified vote count a couple of days later. Fairy tale tellers irritate me, and when a judge does it….even worse.
Quick to declare victory, happy to take money from taxpayers wallets, slow to concede. At least she had the decency to call Prosser.
I can’t wait to show photo ID at the next election!!!!

This just in from the lax trib:
“On the recording obtained by the Tribune, party vice chairman Julian Bradley says he just spoke with Mark Jefferson, executive director of the state GOP, and “we are actively keeping our ears to the ground and if anybody knows anybody for a candidate that would be interested on the Democratic side in running in the primary against Jennifer Shilling…. So if anybody knows any Democrats who would be interested, please let us know.â€
Wisconsin, may I introduce the new and improved republibertarian tea party; republibertarian tea party, may I introduce Wiscsonsin. Unethical, lacking integrity, and zero character.
Hiring girlfriends of legislators; hiring unqualified son’s of big money; thinking about introducing trouble makers, killing medicare; taking over city’s in michigan and firing elected officials, continual tax cuts to the richest, cutting seniors, students, farmers, workers, and the poor.
Sit this one out, folks. They don’t represent the people; rebulibertarian tea party represents the rich and only the rich.
