Long gay marriage debate in store for Minnesota

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) Minnesota has a long and potentially polarizing campaign in store after state lawmakers agreed to allow voters to decide whether to limit civil marriage to heterosexual couples a prohibition that already exists in state law.
*bored sigh* The only thing that needs to be done is to use another word for it. Civil Union, Partnership, whatever. Have it include all the rights that married men and women have and there it is. No muss no fuss. Sheesh!
