The race was a bit over crowded. Perhaps they should start in waves. I was having a grand ol time up until somewhere between miles 2 and 3. I looked up to see for a more open area to run and as well for a shot of water. The next thing I was looking at was the sky. (ha ha) I stepped into a lil pot hole and rolled my ankle. PAIN! I was on the side lines rolling around and trying to walk it off for a couple minutes so I obviously had to scrap my goal time. I finally got inspired to keep going also because I wanted to earn my medal and awesome shirt. I eventually limped through the finish line. Overall the race atmosphere was awesome and so were the snacks….yum.
