Nobles county has one person and one person only to look at for this mess and the loss of $300,000 in funding Melvin Ruppert.
You talk about low morale with the Rock-Nobles health employees going through this mess well don’t forget the rest of the nobles county employees, almost all the employees have low morale in nobles county also due to one person Melvin Ruppert.
Wake up commissioners he is killing this county little by little open your eyes he must go get rid of him.
Nobles county would be money ahead if he were gone and then we could begin to grow and other counties would work with us again.

I agree that Ruppert is a problem, but let’s look at the structure of things. The County Commissioners are not fools. They know exactly what he is doing, what type of person he is. Ruppert is a reflection of the Commissioners own beliefs, morals and desires.
Think of it this way – he is a child and they are his parents. His authority and power is an extension of their own. His ability to bully and run amuck is accepted, tolerated and one could go so far as to say encouraged (as evident by his length track record) by the Commissioners.
Yes, Ruppert has been and will continue to be wrong in many things. However, it is the Commissioners who are truly to blame. Any if we fail to hold the Commissioners responsible for the actions of their child… well…. We are no better then they and have ourselves become a grandparent in this dysfunctional family called Nobles.
