Residents send special greeting for birthday

For years, Wayne J. Docktor and Wayne C. Docktor observed Jamestown from afar.
Father and son, both grew up in Jamestown, but moved to warmer climates about 30 years ago. Missing their city, the two checked in every day, if not more than once a day, using a local webcam.

MWensman, I would have to disagree with you, yes CSi cable may not have as many channels as Daktel, but at least when the power goes out I am not waiting 20 minutes for it load like I would with Daktel. Plus the internet is usually really good also. I pay 58 dollars a month for high speed internet and cable TV whereas my parents pay over $120 for daktel and just have more channels… If you ask me… less is more. Also, as I see you post on tons of other posts about not bashing people. This should also apply to companies. I support our local companies and CSi has some flaws but what person/company doesn’t!

I’ll sell you cable, then. $20 for ZERO channels. How’s that for your logic? Also, Daktel is based in Carrington, CSI is owned by CableOne in Fargo. Which company is more local?

As for CSI, I have only had terrible experiences. I had it 6 years ago, and boy did I ever see snow, and I’m not talking about on the weather channel. CSI – fibre to your neighbourhood because we came up short. Again.

Hi Katie! That’s a nice baby you have! I have Daktel cable and I am very happy with it. I think maybe Mwensman is being a little critical of Cable Services, but they really are a terrible company. I have also had billing problems and customer service problems as well. I often watched their info channel but the Wayne Beyers show just got too annoying! I’m sorry, Katie, but I don’t pay nearly what your parents do for my cable or network and I enjoy it much more than I did with Cable Services.
