With the Minnesota House having completed its task of balancing the budget, I want to explain to residents how lawmakers made it happen. Continue Reading

Once again we skipped over the tough parts and the legislature gives us fluff and bubbles for results. The real core problem with the schools is the overpaid administrators, and to many of them also. How much supervision does a competant teacher need if they know what they are doing? The nursing homes are in sad shape. Massive dollars of yearly revenue, yet the buildings/facilities are not getting attention and the workers are poorly paid. Overpaid administrators/ownership in the nursing home industry is the problem. It is so bad that nursing homes are like a mill: grinding out every last dollar from the taxpayer and resident. Pay the caregiver/workers a decent wage and invest a certain percentage of income back into the building/facilities!!! Everywhere I look, every program, there are some limited few people with a gold mine and the program participants getting the shaft!!!!! Time for accountability in administration and other fluffy costs and lets get that money to who it is intended for!!!! Time to end the idea of supporting the privileged elite few and spread the wealth and services fairly and with accountability.
