Workers contemplating furloughs at SD sites

FORT THOMPSON Federal employees like Keith Fink can only hope they get to keep coming to work as a possible shutdown of the federal government looms.
Fink, the operations project manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Big Bend Dam and Lake Sharpe near Fort Thompson, said he and his co-workers are waiting to hear if they will be furloughed by the government shutdown. Continue Reading
