   How can moving the mail 100 miles to sort and then bring it back 100 miles be more efficient than sorting the mail here? Maybe if they get an increase in the postal rates that would make the additional cost easier to bear. Get your common sense hats on, Post Office, and start thinking like the rest of us.
   Moving the sorting is the dumbest idea they have come up with in a long time.

  This is a fairly shallow observation, “Peter Griffin”. Most of the work isn’t done during the 100 mile transport, but rather at the mail sorting facility. If Jamestown’s post office sorting system isn’t fiscally worth it, then common sense can tell you a lot about where the work should be done.

   I hope they move the processing to Fargo. Then maybe most of my mail won’t be folded in half and creased. I’ve had numerous letters that said “Do Not Bend” and they were ruined. Processing mail can’t be that difficult!
