Wisconsin Supreme Court election is Tuesday
March 30, 2011 at 12:03 pm in Hudson Star-Observer
Next Tuesday, April 5, Wisconsin voters will go to the polls to elect one of seven justices to the state Supreme Court. The incumbent, David Prosser Jr., is challenged by Assistant Attorney General JoAnne Kloppenburg. Continue Reading

What did Prosser call the other justice? Kloppenburg-impartial. Prosser-um, well maybe not so much. Kloppenburg is the choice for anyone that believes a judge should based decisions on the evidence, not political ideology. How would you like to be in a car accident and become disabled, it’s you against the big insurance company lawyers, and Mr. Prosser sitting on the bench. What are the odds he would take the side of the big insurance company? Kloppenburg is the better choice for 98% of Wisconsinites.

danimal – The state supreme court is exclusively for hearing appeals of legal issues. It does not make any finding of facts, and thus holds no trials. In the rare case where the trial court made an egregious error in its finding of facts, the state supreme court will remand to the trial court for a new trial. So, the example of your trial wouldn’t be heard by Justice Prosser alone. If it was a case the State Supreme Court heard, there is a panel of judges that make decisions.

Dislike? Really? What do you dislike about the process of the State Supreme Court? Dislike on comments such as these sort of makes me chuckle. Just shows how partisan the responder is that they can’t even recognize a statement that is correct and only disliking because they know I lean more conservative.

Unions poured $3m into the state to get Kloppenburg elected by putting out false attack ads against Justice Prosser. All fact checks have proven them to be barely true / mostly false. You think that shows how impartial she is? Give me a break, Danimal. You have done a good job learning your talking points, now how about doing your own research and learning the truth.

3mil, site your source sbrown, and it can’t be Fox news, Rush, Hannity, or Beck, as we know they certainly are not ‘fair and impartial.’ I just read 1.3 special interest money. Source please sbrown? What did Fox news’ new director just admit to sbrown? He admitted repeated stories that he in his personal life didn’t think was true. Here’s one: Obama is going to spend 200 million a day going to India…who actually believes this stuff!

I’m curious, danimal, do you think typing my name several times, danimal, in a comment makes you sound, intimidating? or, danimal, do you think it makes you sound intelligent? well, danimal, it makes you sound condescending and thoughtless. you are a lazy consumer of the news as has been proven by several of your posts. 1.3m or 3m, I don’t care – the fact is the unions are trying hard to get kloppenburg elected because they know she will rubberstamp their position and oppose anything that comes to the court that the unions might be afraid of. That is what you should be concerned about.

It is well documented, Danimal. Again, do a little research. Do you think the sleazy, lieing, ads about Prosser came free to the unions that are running them? All I can say, is DUH!

Vote Prosser! Prosser is the clear and obvious best choice just after reading this article.
If you want to learn more about Kloppenberg’s lengthy litigious career against businesses in our state read here:

Wisconsin does not need a supreme court justice who will go out of her way to sue any business that comes before the court. She is a radical liberal with aspirations to be an activist judge on our supreme court, legislating from the bench. No thanks Kloppenburg!

Prosser is the better choice for 100% of Wisconsinites unless of you course you prefer Judges who legistlate from the bench and radically liberal.

Prosser is not the best choice if you don’t like blatant misogynists who turn around and play the victim card.

That’s a pretty strong word there—so what does that make all the Sarah Palin haters out there? Gosh, like nothing bad has EVER been said about her! Oh that’s right, she is a conservative woman….they are fair game and you never hear a word out of NOW or NARAL, they just stand by in silence. Heaven forbid that a bad thing is said about a liberal woman!

So you condone a judge calling a female judge “the B word”, then threatening to “destroy” her and then turning around and blaming her and another female judge for the whole incident. Interesting.

Just sayin’….you guys sure know how to dish out the insults but when you are on the receiving end it is somehow a cardinal sin. Just very hypocritical on your part. After what was said about our president for eight years, you guys don’t have a leg to stand on!

Vote Prosser. Even Gov. Doyle wanted nothing to do with Kloppenburg. Maybe she should actual gain some experience and become a judge on a lower level court before trying for the State Supreme Court. Oh wait she has tried 3 times to become judge and has failed 3 times. Too bad the Unions aren’t discussing those points

So Prosser is a misogynist and somehow this becomes about the Bush Administration. Sarah Palin endorsed Prosser, so she isn’t too worried about misogynists as judges. It’s not hypocritical to call him that because there is proof that it happened. Guess that is a leg to stand on. Twist it however you want. Misogynist. Misogynist. Misogynist.
