What a thrill I had as a 13 yr. old Grand Forks Herald carrier after winning a free trip to see the 1960 Gopher team with Sandy Stevens at quarterback and Warmath as coach play against Purdue at the old Memorial Stadium in Mpls. in front of about 60,000.
