Notice the price of gas on the Holiday Station sign. Boy, that would be nice. I have noticed a car stopped on the outside lane can actually be a blind spot for cars coming the same direction in the lane next to you and can not see people starting to cross the street. By the time the pedestrians pass the front of your car the on coming car doesnt see them in time. I have seen some close calls. Also, people need to slow down. Why is it when Im on Broadway or 3rd Ave. doing 30 mph people blow by me doing 40+?? Time to start cracking down!!

More bad spending of federal tax dollars. Why should someone in Kentucky, or Arizona or any other state subsidize this project? Moreover, why should anyone in Alexandria pay federal tax dollars for a similar project anywhere else? When the federal government strays so far from its real responsibilities, it just exacerbates its out-of-control spending spree.
