The video didn’t “go viral!” on YouTube. Herald reporters need to stop writing that in every story that has a video attached to it. The video that was referenced currently has just over 1,800 views. Hardly even popular, let alone a viral video.
And post the damn link in the story. It’s not hard to do, and it helps people understand what you’re trying to communicate in the story.

1,800 is pretty “viral” for us Nodaks! LOL Do the math, 1,800 out of 600,000 (.3%) in ND, versus say California, which would be about 111,000! Good point though. To me “viral” would be a few hundred thousand views, at a minimum
