As I write this my seven weeks of radiation treatment for breast cancer is coming to an end and I am glad. It isn’t over by any means. Continue Reading

I appreciate your thoughts very much with all the treatment and hullabaloo. When I first started radiation, I was frightened by the thought that they get you all aligned on the machine with the crosshairs thingy, and then they run behind (and close loudly) a big steel door and leave you vulnerable and “on your own” for a time. That lasted only a day or two, then I found it very humorous when I took my baby daughter in for x-rays and they made me put on a steel vest thing for protection from the x-ray!
It really does come down to the caregivers, who I can guess wouldn’t be in that occupation very long if they weren’t good at it. And I’m very glad for the wonderful care I received.
