Is it also common sense to not tap into the abundant availability of oil and coal in this country? Is it common sense to not expand on nuclear energy? Is it common sense to adding exorbitant amounts to our federal debt? Is it common sense in this state to allow voting without showing a vaild form of identification? Want me to go on AL??????

Sen. Franken addresses important legistlation that directly impact farmers in our state and that was the point of the article — to give us an update. They are just a few of the many important issues affecting our state, some of which you’ve listed. I’m sure he’d be happy to hear from you.
