The authors sound like a couple of people gathered around the water cooler at work complaining for the sake of complaining. I agree that snow removal can be improved in Dickinson, or any city for that matter. But any one can write an article criticizing the process. How about coming up with real solutions instead of just disparaging our hard working snow removal crews?

Here’s a suggestion: The road crews need to be dispatched to the areas where they are needed the most, and the soft snow on the sides of the roads need to be cleared more often (not saying anything against the crews, they just do what they’re told) The ruts on Villard have been so bad, and the drifts on the side of the road were so deep, people were sliding right into them. The other day, my husband and I rescued 2 different ladies who had slid into the drifts. The first girl had a baby in the back seat, the back end of her car was out in the traffic lane, and she had been waiting for the police for 15 minutes before we got there. We were the first people to stop and offer help.
