Population jumps 151 percent in Springfield?

Two South Dakota towns that saw increases in their populations according to the 2010 census don’t put a lot of stock in the figures.
Springfield’s population increased 151 percent at least officially.
The town had 792 residents according to the 2000 Census. It jumped to 1,989 in 2010, according to the latest count. Continue Reading
