Thanks to the FDA, GMO alfalfa has been given the green light to planting despite a Federal judge’s order. Say goodbye to organic foods. Just another step towards controlling the food supply since the FDA is owned by Monsanto.
Why don’t the farmers of this great country stand up and tell the USDA and the FDA NO?
You are what you eat. Your health is a direct result of what you eat. Stop this madness.

The USDA and FDA are owned by far larger groups than Monsanto. A seed company has not 1/100th the pull of food and beverage manufacturers, pharmaceuticals and etc. If cows want organic feed, they will tell us. As far as human consumables, people can choose if they want organic. If the market is there, corporations will be soon to follow. Do not fret.

Are you out there grazing with the cows Patrick? The fact of the matter is that right now the vast majority of corn and soybeans are genetically modified. Biotechnology is essential to simply provide the world with the quantity of food necessary to feed the population. So-called organic food is available to you to eat if you choose. That is your right. If I depend on organic producers alone to provide enough food I will starve to death. The yield on organic crops just isn’t there. In many cases organic farming is weed farming. I’ve seen many fields of organic crops growing and they’re not pretty. Weeds rob yield and there is no chemical weed control available to organic producers.

The dust is a problem, but what about the smell by the sanitary landfill. Why is nothing done about that?
