Note that those costs are in 1989 dollars. Using the CPI index to adjust for 2006 dollars, multiply those numbers by 1.62 which means each rape costs society an average of $76,140 and each murder costs some $3.9 million. Thus just the 2,158 murders committed by illegal aliens burdened our society with $8.4 BILLION in costs.
Maybe one day we can have a real President, a pro-American President with a spine who will give a speech and point out the REAL problems with illegal immigration and who can tell the American people why it’s so important to go through the proper process to become an American citizen, and to learn English, the constitution and to respect the rule of law in America when you become a U.S citizen. Becoming a U.S citizen is a privilege, not a right and Obama needs to get that through his thick progressive skull…
Hot debate. What do you think?

Another great cut and paste of totally off-topic information, gleaned from several sources — verbatim — on the Internet. It’s so out of context here, it’s meaningless.
Everyone should be aware that NO US president, nor Congress, has done anything substantive about illegal immigration… no Democrat, no Republican, no conservative, no liberal. So, by that measure, we’ve had NO pro-American Presidents with spines to address the issue. You can’t place all the blame on Obama. It’s been a problem for decades. What’s your solution? Pass it on to those who might be able to do something about it.

Another cut and paste, with a twist…Dwight D. Eisenhower, whose administration deported in 1954 about 1 million people — including many Latino (lawbreakers) who were naturalized U.S. citizens — as part of a sweep with the appropriate name of “Operation Wetback.â€

Another cut, copy, chop, rebuild…
Napolitano repeated the boast during a speech in El Paso, where she assured the audience that the (Obama) administration had removed more illegal immigrants “than ever before.†removing nearly 800,000 illegal immigrants in two years is a modern-day record, and it’s a statistic the administration is obviously very proud of. I sure hope this is honestly true. I have a little trouble believing Obama, Ahhh, because he seems to be a Balled Faced Liar! Still I hope.

So,Deano, you’ve proved my point. Numerous administrations over decades have addressed the issue, but it’s obvious there is no real solution, since they keep trying and trying different things. Eisenhower’s tactic didn’t work long term, or we wouldn’t be having this debate today.
“Operation Wetback”… maybe it was arguably “appropriate” to use the phrase in 1950. It’s tasteless and crude today, even if you think otherwise. I’m glad, however, that you still have hope.
And it’s also tasteless and inappropriate to call the president a “balled faced liar”… And you should be aware the correct term is either “bald-faced” or “bold faced”. You could find that through a simple “cut and paste”. Get real.

Well anyway you spell it, politically correct or not, he flat out lies..Glad to see you got it right, I’ll go for either. I’ll agree the job has never been finished. The present demands it now. I didn’t use the term. I copied and pasted, remember.

So when you cut and paste you’re not responsible for the contents of whatever it is you cut and paste? That’s a new one! You used the term. You put your name on the post, you own it.
From now on, to absolve yourself, you be wise to attribute it to the original author and put in a disclaimer… “the opinions of so-and-so do not reflect the opinions of Deano.”. Even then, it’d be pretty lame and nobody would buy it. Better yet, just quit surfing the net so you don’t get backed into the corner.
It’d be far more useful to come up with some original thoughts that you’re proud to stand behind. And it’s helpful to avoid personal attacks and cheap shots.

Mendez is a bad person who is must likely a product of our broken immigration system. That’s my opinion/comment; if you want to debate that, have at it. Other than that I need no advice!
We all have to get our information from somewhere in order to form our thoughts. Talk about “personal attacks and cheap shots.†Read your own posts, you have the corner on that. Doing some research would go a long ways toward commenting on the article\issues rather then the commenter!

God bless them for helping us. They are all so nice too. Said hi to a couple the other day in Windom and they said F you. Nice.
Funny thing, they were arrested minutes later for check theft. Nothing wrong. We just don’t understand.
