As a parent, I would NOT like to see all the make up days crammed into planned no school days. I certainly hope that the make up days won’t be made on Spring Break. District 518 went ahead with the flexible learning year in order to give the kids more time to prepare for end of year tests, but they have been a little too liberal with snow days and 2 hour delays. Now they have a backlash of time off to make up and wonder how they are going to do that. Such smart and educated people.
Seems to me that they would do anything so as not to interfere with teachers end of school year vacation plans.
