Kazmierczak – says it is inflated because of a one time bonding issue. Well Mr. Wayne – are you saying that the other schools are not hindered by the same thing? Stop making excuses because every school district has bonds within the district. You can not remove it for Moorhead and then compare the cost to schools that have it included. Again you are comparing apples to oranges like you always do when it comes to dollars. Moorhead should be closer to DGF if not better because a larger school district should have economy of scale when purchasing things. Maybe you should talk to West Fargo and see how they did because it sounds like they know this very simple economic equation.

Wow, shocking!!! You mean more money doesn’t mean a better education?? Moorhead, your are right, Moorhead schools are mismanaged and always full of excuses! West Fargo built a bigger middle school the same year Moorhead did for millions less. Mostly because of fluff, not labor. These numbers are no surprise.

You do know West Fargo is overcrowded and desperately low on classroom space, right?

Pete, If West Fargo increased their spending by 52% per pupil, they would be at Moorhead’s spending level. They can fix any issues for a lot less than that. I wonder if Moorhead residents would have approved the $800 plus per pupil spending this year with these facts…I don’t think so.

I love WF trying to use taxes and such as a way to explain away their crappy money handling.
