Another Vikings stadium bill likely on its way

Last year’s Hail Mary fell incomplete as time ran out on the Minnesota Vikings and their push for a new stadium. But the team may be granted an overtime period in the 2011 Minnesota Legislature. <a href=”http://www.grandforksherald.com/event/article/id/191702/”>Continue Reading</a>
If republicans really believed in this austerity stuff they’d let the team build their own stadium. Maybe it will help them learn “personal responsibility.” But, that would never happen, so they’ll cave and build a “Stadium for the Ages,” which will please the Vikings for as much as 4 years, I’m sure. Get sports out of our politics.
