It’s a good idea. Hope it passes. There’s folks getting killed because someone who can bearly drive is also trying to text at the same time. It’s dangerous and deadly. If it’s so important to text or call pull over and stop your car.

Circular Economics. Like most things these days.. more legistlation is not needed, takes too long and enforcement is tricky at best with limited resources..
The laws on the books cannot be enforeced.
Anyway.. texting like a lot of things connected to driving.. ITS ALREADY CONTRIBUTORY NEGLIGENCE… so when the INSURANCE COMPANY STOPS PAYING CLAIMS RELATED TO THIS ISSUE AND OTHERS.. boom bada bing.. behavior will stop THIS AFTERNOON… NOT WHEN another law is passed..
