teach them to clean and keep up with the maintenance so when the cable tv installer, plumber, roofer, electrician, etc comes over they can work. And teach the new owners to pay their bills when they do call these people.

I haven’t seen the course outline, but if you feel these are pervasive issues, please suggest them to the instructors. From what I’ve seen in Worthington, some of the best-maintained homes are the smaller ones which are presumably occupied by first-time buyers.
