Great Idea! This will impact the community tenfold. I have read various comments discouraging the service of LSS, wondering why?

Find it interesting that “these are not the type of residence halls today’s students want” but either they ARE want senior citizens want or we don’t care what they want. Retirement centers used to be very “dorm-like” but that has changed. How extensive is the planned remodeling?

I’m not sure how this is going to work.. There is not a kitchen in the dorms, and the rooms are very small… They also only have 1 elevator so the senior citizens are going to have to walk from there to whatever room they have… I think its going to cost a butt load of money to fix up and I don’t think Wahpeton needs anymore living, we have a lot nicer places for them to live! Also, where are they going to park? The lot is across the street… And I don’t think older people are going to want to live on a campus with collage kids….
