JACKSON The city of Jackson is considering upgrades, expansions and replacements for nearly all its facilities, from the crowded, bustling library to the cramped fire station, the outdated police station and even the city sewer system.

I am very pleased with this good news. As a tax payer, a property owner and a voter, I am happy and well satisfied with the very good plans to upgrade, expand and replace the police station, the fire station, the library and eventually the sewer system. I love the can-do spirit of our good and faithful community leaders who are showing us what they are made of and they certainly deserve our praise.
Jackson needs a restaurant such as a Country Kitchen or a Perkins and I don’t mean maybe either! I promise whoever the person is who takes the chance and invests in bringing a new restaurant to Jackson such as a Perkins or a Country Kitchen, for example, you will not be sorry.
