That was an embarrassing article. It could have been written by an 11 year old. God is second?? That in itself is why this article is a shame. Why would you write that? I have lived in many towns in North Dakota. I lived near GF, also right near the exact center of the state, then near Devil’s Lake, and in the extreme southwest by Hettinger, and currently south of Fargo and the only place that UND hockey is king is in Grand Forks. This is the irritating attitude Sue hockey people have about an unpopular sport in the U.S. You need to get out more. Obviously you are a UND rube who can’t get a grip on reality. Hockey is a small time sport in this country. I have family and friends in Memphis Tennessee, Atlanta, Oakland CA, and some near Baltimore. They have no idea that UND exists. NONE whatsoever. I guarantee you that 99.9999% of the people in this country have no flipping clue that UND has hockey. And none of them care or are impressed by UND in this regard. To Sue fans, PLLEEEEEASE stop bragging about a college sport that boasts 58 total teams. These big boys you refer to don’t put money into hockey (Except U of M). You know why??? Because football is king. A big school isn’t considered a ‘big boy’ in all programs. Defeating Duke in football wouldn’t be considered beating the ‘big boys’. Except to people at UND!
