They should be kicked off the team and barred from playing, that may detour future incidents rather then the two week suspension. Sports teams are supposed to represent the school they play for and should show discipline and professionalism .

Did I read that right? The coach was part of this? If so he should not have a job. Period. Also I don’t like that a public agency like a school that is funded by tax payers don’t disclose the details of the investigation. What happen to the open records rules? Or does that only affect citizens records and not government. Again Moorhead school district hiding the facts about things just like they do everything else.

Teenage boys doing stupid things?…I’m shocked. Coach letting this happen does shock me however, in this day and age he should have known better.

The coach was suspended for “failing to provide adequate supervision of student-athletes,†which means he probably didn’t know hazing took place.
It will be interesting to find out what actually took place. If it was a little initiation thing and the hockey parent was being a hockey parent or if the kids were being idiots.
But, these kids are probably minors so we may never find out the details.
