Boys hockey: ‘Rough spot in the road’ puts an end to winning streak

After averaging over seven goals per game during its recent four-game winning streak, the Farmington boys hockey team managed to find the net just three times during back-to-back road losses last week.
The Tigers opened the week with a 2-1 overtime loss to a Shakopee team they’d beaten 6-1 just 11 days earlier. Their tough stretch continued Thursday night at Cottage Grove Ice Arena where Park scored the first six goals in an eventual 8-2 win. Continue Reading
