Is there no conflict of interest with butterfield being a county commission board? There are three members of his family already working for the county we are told.

By the time the ceremony took place, Fischer had already terminated one of the most experienced and well-respected assistant county attorneys in the State of Minnesota, a prosecutor who had more than 20 years of major crime fighting experience in cases of homicide, major drug lords, and sexual misconduct. In short, she has already deprived the people of Kandiyohi County of the abilities of an outstanding top prosecutor. Is it too early to recall this moron?
Clean house Jenna there has been a degree of politics that need addressing. Some of the CA take some of the cases either lightly, or they go gunho, just like on Wagner. This 20yr veteran has been there too long, and does things her way, and will buck the new CA along the way. Its good to just clean house and get some new faces to tackle the issues in a more tacful way. If you feel that an employee under you never did like you, why keep that person on board with a new adminstration? Jenna you did the right thing, time to mold your office to your liking and if people there don’t like it then there is the door!

More political nepotism to a county who has had a history of it. Although the county claims they don’t hire relatives, or family members, the truth is they have, and this is the perfect example of talking out of both sides of your mouth brother! Now I heard they have laid off again, so where is the money going for law enforcement? That should be the last place that takes budget cuts. I don’t know if it was deputies or jailers, but I heard they laid off four, what a shame, unless your a butterfield then you have it made.

Wow Scott you on the former CA new staff at his firm now?
Scott you are lost buddy, and you know with new leadership comes change. Some people can’t be changed or buck may undermine the leadership of the new adminisrtation. The new CA has the right to bring in personal she needs to, so her administration can run with effectiveness. Maybe you think its personal Scott because you are either related to this person, or are a good friend, but this type of thing happens everywhere. When a new mayor is placed in charge he may not think the current chief of Police is right for his or her agenda, so he or she makes or own choice. If you view this as personal then your lost on how a change of administrative duties are done. Also don’t under estimate the knowledge of Mr Fisher, she has worked as both a CA, and has had a private practice. She is also a very effective attorney who knows the law. So Scott sit back and enjoy the ride brother, you may just be surprised?
The feces are going to hit the fan over two HUGE blunders made by the fool you elected and she’s been in office for less than a week, and that’s just what I know of for sure. Stay tuned.

Wishful thinking Scott nothing is going to happen, this I know for a fact. With some of the cases filed against some people like Wagner it clearly showed how vindictive the CA office was especially going after a Iraq combat veteran just to get to the dad. The whole case stunk from the beginning and the CA realized they had gone too far when they dropped charges against the father. Jenna did not just win by a horses length, she won by a mile. Besides Scott you don’t know the whole story behind the termination but if you think you do why don’t you enlighten us, instead of running off making claims that are not entirely true.

jimmy, you don’t seem to know anything for a fact. You’ve chosen a case as your cause celebre and you don’t know any of the facts of the case including the name of the defendant or the disposition of the case even though you’ve had two years to study it.
The reason for the termination is simply settling an old score against someone who beat her out for a promotion years ago and since then has routinely beat her up in court. Just a vendetta, simple as that.
