I’ll offer another name: Rick Manke. Then bring in Craig Anderson from DGF as his assistant head coach. Those two would be a force to be reckoned with.

Wow, that’s surprising. Can someone tell me the appeal of taking over a program that is a habitual loser over the past decade and has little hope of turning it around with the lack of financial support while the NSIC is expanding its horizons to increase competitiveness? I would say the best move right now is to move down to D-3 and build a competitive program or commit at least 20-25 scholarships to the football program. Do they really need all the meaningless sports like cross country, tennis, and soccer.

People like you represent what is wrong with college sports today. All you care about is fielding a winning team in a popular sport.

Rocky would never consider MSUM, the Forum wrote this story to get a rise out of us. Wasnt it in the paper a few days ago that Rocky said he would never consider a program that isnt commited to winning?! With less than 10 scholorships and third fiddle in the FM college market, (NDSU and Concordia) MSUM has no chance of turning this program around. Either fully fund it or drop the program.
