It is humorous to read postings by persons living in the area complain about how their government works. Here is an opportunity to play a role and the city it has trouble filling these positions. And they pay about $2000 a year. Many have said these people should serve for free. So maybe somebody who complains a lot, now is your opportunity to donate your time for free to the city and be on one of these boards. Then you can’t say the government it is not responsive and that you can’t say anything. It must be the opportunity that everyone they have been looking for. Especially those living in neighborhoods where they do no like what the city it is doing. You will now find if other people they think the same as you or not. Have much fun on the committees and thank you for your service.
