Nice Mickey Mouse Legislation, what is up next, proposal to have all children under age 10 in bed by 8pm? Come on! Be serious there has to be more important issues. Who elected this guy? What is the logic? How is this going to curb underage drinking? Joke, Joke, Joke. Waste of time!

I can find it so ironic that the Republicans continue to espouse the theory that laws on the books should be enforced and no new laws are needed and that there is an “anti-nanny state” mentality and then there is this Republican that proposes new laws. I agree that there is much more important things to consider than this. Perhaps they have to much time and to many tax dollars on their hands. Maybe they should spend some time on weaning the governor off his multi-million dollar farm ag giveaway programs. What is it you say, if you are going to walk and walk you better talk or something.
As a former liquor store operator I support it. I had many minors attempt to use fake IDs. The minor risked a fine. I and my employees faced the loss of the business or at minimum lost revenue should a fake result in an unintended sale to a minor. We had younger kids use an older siblings drivers license or even sneakier, the older sibling’s renewal card which resulted in a state issued license which we discovered only because the kid was so nervous he tipped us off and he admitted it.
