Officials: Ice still thin in many spots

As more and more anglers brave the ice here looking for the big catch, local officials have some sturdy advice: Be careful.
“There’s a fair amount of snow, which insulates the existing ice, which prevents it from really getting thick,” said Bob Martin, Pipestem Dam manager.
