A 23-year-old Battle Lake, Minn., man who was on the run after being accused of slitting his dog’s throat was arrested at 2 a.m. today in Colorado on other charges, authorities said.

I really hope he gets more than a slap on the wrist. Violent acts like this against animals are just as aggregious as they are against children or others!!!
This type of violence against animals is a hallmark indicator that the individual is a psychopath.

Wasn’t J Edgar Hoover cited as saying that no boy with a dog ever went wrong? Well, this one did and if he treated his dog like that he should be tucked away where he can’t try the same things on people. he has trouble dealing with. Mav, I agree.

The guy sounds like an all around loser. I’m glad they finally caught the creep. As for Star, I wonder why he hasn’t been adopted out yet. He sounded like wonderful dog so I wonder why the delay. I hope he gets a wonderful family. I’d adopt him in a minute if I had room!
