Temporary store kiosks get in the way of mall traffic trying to navigate down the crowded aisles. Those areas were designed for shoppers to walk, not to create fire/safety hazards by being in the way during high traffic and emergencies.
If I was a major retailer who has to pay thousands per month all year long for that location, and then some shabby cheap kiosk came along and setup in front of my store I wouldn’t be jolly.
Get rid of the whole kiosk concept. The fad was over in the 90s.

Yup, the mall intended the carpeted center part of the hallways, the same place that has all the couches and chairs as a walkway. When was the last time you were at the mall?
