The Minnesota Woodchoppers were: Bernie Ostrom (sp?), singer and rhythm guitar, accordion player Jimmy Jenson, and lead guitar Leon Somebody. Bernie had an early morning country music DJ show and was a big Hank Snow fan. They played live on KVOX from 12:20 to 12:45. After eating our brown bag lunches at Clifford High School we would listen to them and then tune in Lem Hawkins on KFGO at 12:45
