After reading this several times I find it very sad. This just doesnt make any sence to me. The people who took HRA to court are clearly in the wrong in all of this. Do they realize what they have done? Yes, they got what they wanted and got their rent lowered BUT they also just made it impossible for HRA/HUD to help more familys. The SMALL increase was going to help them help more people. Was the $62 really enough to complain about? Just think $62 times 100 people is $6200 which could help many many more familys in the county. Instead of being greatful they were on the program to begin with people decided to complain and get GREEDY in my opinion. I have posted this on facebook and many people agree with what I have stated. I hope that these people realize that KARMA is an awful thing. Being greedy like this will mean that more people can not be approved for help. People who may need it way more than the people who complained. By the way – if the people who took HRA/HUD to court had lawyers than how did they afford that? If they had the money for a lawyer they should have the money to pay their own rent and stop being on welfare.
