I’m very glad that this proposal was defeated. Now all we need is for the JSDC to be eliminated. The citizens of Jamestown and Stutsman County should be outraged that their tax dollars are being wasted in such a careless manner. The sweetheart Grille deal is a fine example. Tax dollars were wasted to purchase two unsellable condos and another $100K was thrown away on a sales commission. Where is the outrage???

I am glad this was defeated. Why did JSDC feel the need to get involved in school politics? I feel that the Jamestown School board was given a skewed view of this whole situation, so they are not to be blamed. The blame should fall soundly on the board of directors for JSDC and their CEO. Stealing land from one district for the financial gain of another is, in my eyes, unethical. How would it have played out if Barnes County North or any rural Stutsman County school were to try and take some land and future development from the Jamestown School district. There would have been loud and angry outrage at that rural school. I agree that it is time to dispense with JSDC and ask for the CEO’s resignation.

Can someone please tell me why the superintendent is in on this deal, huge conflict of interest. Maybe he should pay more attention to his employees bad behavior at the school. Seems he has been very busy with hostile land takeovers and having moms fired from their jobs. I think jps and jsdc need good house cleanings!! what do you really think jamestown
