Merry Christmas!!! Of course it should be Merry Christmas! We are celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am not offended when I see Happy Kwanzaa or Happy Chanukah, just to name a few of the other celebrations that coincide with Christmas time. Why do people have to be so ridiculous? When did society become so thin skinned and intolerant of others beliefs that we must compromise ourselves? I’m not expecting everyone to believe the same things I do, but don’t try deny me my right to celebrate my Lord and Saviors birth. Maybe those who do not believe in Christ should not be celebrating Christmas anyway, how about Happy Festivus or Happy Commercialist Consumer Gift Day for the nonbelievers. “Christmas isn’t just a day and all days aren’t the same, if you look closely at the word, you’ll see it spells His name! So Merry Christmas!”

What happened to my comment from the other day? They dug into the budget for the new lights, yet all the new fees for having a bon fire, going to the park, etc etc will all cover the cost of the lights. So, I dont want to hear how they feel they did everyone a favor by going into the budget.
