High court reject Emmer ballot case
November 22, 2010 at 11:36 am in West Central Tribune
ST. PAUL — The Minnesota Supreme Court late this afternoon rejected a request by Republican governor candidate Tom Emmer that could have led to some ballot being not counted. Continue Reading

This is good news for the people of Minnesota and the Dayton camp, because in my opinion it was not as close as the Coleman Franken election. This means the tax payers won’t be spending a bunch of cash on an election won by Dayton. Now if it was close as the Franken race then I could see the need, but Emmer needs to concede the election and allow Dayton to begin his process of governing the state of Minnesota. Break out the best china and a good bottle of Sherry. I love it!!

Harold this arguement of yours is pointless, “In Nov. 2010 . Take DFLer strong hold, Henn. Country for example, over 400,000 votes were counted., At one time that evening we were told there were over 800,000 votes cast and or counted, so THEY said, after 4-5 hours THEY corrected the count!!! back down to a realistic number??? ” Please Harold READ THE FACTS! Everyone running for office that night, EVERYONE had their votes doubled when a recorder hit the “add to” button as opposed to the “replace” button. I for one am very thankful and proud of those fellow Minnesotans who take on the responsibility of being an election judge in this state. It is too bad that we question their integrety and suggest that they purposely make mistakes.

Harold it was almost 8000 votes in which Dayton won, recounting will only benefit Dayton and if Emmer gains any votes it would hardly matter. But like any true GOP its alright to spend the tax payers money if it furthers their career and its alright on the tax payers dime they are so worried about saving.
