These people are all dead, what are they going to charge them with?

Sep. 30: The bus driver.
Oct. 8: The driver of the car.
Oct. 16: The teenage girl who was driving.
Oct. 17: Nobody.
In my opinion, the teenage girl is the only one who will (maybe) face charges — but only if there were drugs or alcohol involved or if the City can prove reckless driving. In the others, the City probably has no case. Sometimes a tragedy is just a tragedy.

The driver was FLYING around a corner. She showed total disregard for the safety and welfare of her passangers. If she were an adult, what would the penalties be?
In my opinion, if you want to do adult things, you pay adult consequences.

My bad. I was specifically refering to the north Fargo accident, with the high school kids.

Why are they comparing these cases? Doesn’t the court have some legitimate criteria they can use to decide whether or not to press charges? I’m not a lawyer, but I thought there was something called an “evidential burden.” I’m glad the courts are now deciding whether or not to try cases based on “how naughty others have been recently.”
