What a completely stupid idea. Everyone knows the site is called Trollwood! Do these people need to find a reason to justify their jobs, and so they come up with a hair brained scheme to re-name the venue? Geeesshhhhhh

It obviously isn’t in Trollwood Park anymore. They can’t just say “Oh we’ll just call this Trollwood Park too!” It hasn’t been RE-named. It hadn’t been named until now. The entire program is retaining the Trollwood name. It just didn’t make sense to extend it to a different location than Trollwood Park.

What a stupid name. Who’s the one that came up with this?

My guess that a major reason for the naming of the park is to establish a new MN identity–distinct from the earlier Fargo identity of Trollwood–in order to latch on to MN Legacy amendment funds.

Yea, they stole it from Fargo so now they have to rebrand the place so they can act like it was theirs all along.
