I just cancelled Centurylink after they offered me a flat rate of 11.00 a month for a basic phone line. I questioned the rate saying that seemed awfully cheap and something had to be “up”. i was told over and over “no sir thats it every month” My first bill was 13.22. My second bill was 15.45. When I called to give them a piece of my mind I was told that my bill was more because I was going over my alloted minutes. Then I kinda blew a gasket. Who would pay for a home phone where you only have so many minutes to talk? That’s why you have a cell phone. Thats the part I was never told. They said they were sorry and I should have been told that part. That’s terrible P.R. and should deter business from them.
