GOP ready to work for jobs, no tax hikes
November 5, 2010 at 7:00 pm in West Central Tribune
ST. PAUL The Minnesota Senate’s first woman majority leader is ready to do what she and fellow Republicans see as the will of the people: no tax increases and help businesses create jobs.

… while adding another 700 billion in national debt so their shadowy super rich donors can keep getting that sweet tax break that is supposed to “trickle down” to the 98% of the rest of us in the form of jobs. We’ve been waiting for the “trickle” since Regan – it is not going to happen. Face it. The american people get exactly what they deserve – more of the same republican leadership that has been in washington for the last 40 years – The same leadership and people responsible for our massive debt and size of government… It amazes me how gullible people are. Do you really think that after all of these years Boener has any other plan than more of the same? Oh well. Good luck Republicans! Keep that hate for your fellow man alive! God forbid you try and look for actual facts instead of just listening to the giant, ultra-biased republican media spin machine of FOX – which has no problem with their “news” people blatantly lying about almost anything with no need to check actual sources. Pathetic. Gin ‘em up!
Hot debate. What do you think?

At least the Left has enough respect for their audience to actually check facts. The Right does not share the same ideals – it’s easier to gin people up with a bunch of lies and nonsense passed off as “news” than it is to check a source or to actually strive for journalistic integrity. That FACT should become more and more obvious as we move forward(?), but I doubt the people already poisoned will ever recognize it considering that hate, fear and lies are so much more powerful than the actual truth.

jasond, The PEOPLE(us Minnesotans) won both houses in St. Paul. My comment, that has to be better than the DFL ownership all these years under DFLer Majority Leaders pogemiller and kelliher. Look st the serious damage these people and the DFL Party did to us . I would say the worse deal they did was leave us with as 6 Billion dollar debt. Had they not spent so foolish and or wasted so much money , we would be sailing along smooth as silk. . For the sake of OUR State, lets pray that with the People now in power, they can over-come what the DFL has done. They, t he DFL have owned the SENATE for 40 years, Now with the PEOPLE in charge, we’ll see results. Would hurt the DFLers still there to work with the PEOPLE . You Faithful, at least you can do , is ask them. TUIT Please

Unfortunately for you that probably wont happen – everybody that voted for Obama in 2008 will be back to vote for him again in 2010 and you will have to writhe and hate for four more years. Enjoy!

What dream world are you in? The people that voted for Obama in 2008, just voted Republican. Now, if the Repubs become like dumbocrats and don’t listen, they be gone in 2012.

Uh, no they didn’t . It was just a mid-term and an un-historical one at that. Come 2012 BHO will get all of those dirty minority votes you hate so much and you will have 4 more years to be the party of Sour Grapes, unless of course everybody’s favorite mama grizzly sneaks in there! I can’t wait!!!

“Pass this stimulus and unemployment will stay below 8%”. “Pass this healthcare bill so we will know whats in it”. “Passing this healthcare bill will reduce healthcare premiums and reduce costs”. The biggest Election aftermath joke is “The Republicans need to compromise and work with us”. Just the “facts” – pshaw. Never could tell the truth. Even with the projection, the Repubs would win, the job numbers were up but Obama has already taken credit for that.

“Invade Iraq, kill 300,000+ innocent civilians, 4000+ of our sons and daughters, permanently cripple 80,000+ more of our best and brightest and we’ll get those Weapons of Mass Destruction my Daddy’s Nemesis has hidden all over!” – Sounds a little more preposterous than making a prediction about where unemployment will level out after your predecessor left the nation reeling. Not to mention letting his buddy Bin Laden go scott free! Sickening.

Ya’ll feel free to struggle with reality while the people you voted for repeal the few meager regulations that were recently put into place to keep America from going right back into another recession/depression. Less regulation worked so well during the Bush years, didn’t it. Wall street wins. You lose. Congratulations. Keep on listening to the non-fact checking republican spin machine and you will be just fine, it’s just how the Right want you (and your children) – ignorant and misinformed. Now that you are all thrilled about Citizens United and what it accomplished for you in this last election cycle, get ready for the supreme court to rule to disallow individuals from participating in class action lawsuits after being disenfranchised or directly hurt due to corporate negligence as well. The Military Industrial Complex and Corporate Special Interests are going to finally finish their takeover. The top 2% of mystery billionaires funded your win and now can finish destroying what GWB and Cheney didn’t. What a great day for America! By the way – All of the job growth and rising numbers that we are witnessing are Obama’s and the Democrats doing. The Republicans have not accomplished anything since 2008 except say NO to everything. Now they want to undo everything ? Why? Because Obama is having success at pulling us out of their mess. Seems strange to want to return the country to where it was 2 years ago, but apparently de-evolution is a republican trait.

Oh yeah! Don’t forget about how we no longer have to worry about environmental issues! Climate change de-bunked, we can now continue with FRAKKING for natural gas (Cheney’s little loop hole pet project) that will eventually poison our entire groundwater supply in the name of Corporate Profit. But don’t worry if your tap water bursts into flames – Halliburton will be offering a new line of moderately priced mineral waters and shower heads that will correct(?) the problem. Drill baby Drill! Damn Future Generations NOW while you have the chance! Poor stewards the lot of you – Jesus Christ would be ashamed.

Here is what I am talking about. No fact checks, FOX would rather just lie to you outright and as much as possible. And ya’ll just eat it up. It’s the textbook definition of ignorant and Bachmann is leading the charge.

Speaking of Bachmann, I understand from afar that there’s rumor of a “Stearns Syndrome” in the district she runs in. Not sure exactily what the “Stearns Syndrome” is but seemt so point to something strange so could explain some of Bachmann’s statements and the infatuation with which Stearns country folks vote for her. Can anyone explain the “Stearns Syndrome” to me?

And the absolute saddest part of this whole “india” myth is that the majority of FOX viewers will continue to believe it because they have been so conditioned with lies, the truth no longer registers. Another textbook example of ignorance in the face of irrefutable facts.

Enjoy your lie filled world thumbs down people. Obviously rational thought abandoned these pages when the format changed – people can’t even recognize the fact they are being directly and blatantly lied to by those they just elected and by faux news. Stuff your heads back up there people – you are about to get exactly what you deserve. The sooner we privatize social security and allow the banks to start gambling with all of our money again, the sooner we can get back to where we were 2 years ago! Great plan!

Here’s one FACT for you…two years ago we were $4.5 trillion less in debt. Heck, we could’ve given around $45,000 to each household…and been better off. I just wonder what an extra $45K would’ve done to the foreclosure rate…unemployment rate? Makes one wonder, doesn’t it Mr. Sour Grapes?

funny stuff kevin. Sounds to me like the sour grapes crowd is still raging hard since 2008. You say the debt has gone up because the sitting president has spent money on our country instead of just blowing billions of it on a little side war of choice? We are still in the war GWB left behind (like all those children) at who knows how many $$$ and lives per day. Sure would have been nice if we could have just finished one war before starting another, but hey, who cares right? We’ll just pass them off on the next guy and blame HIM for all of the problems we created. Now all we have to do is figure out how to subvert the ridiculously gullible majority of american xenophobes into thinking it’s all the new guys fault! …. enter FAUX NEWS…. Problem Solved! I honestly like the fact that ya’ll swept back in and balanced government – I really do – but that does not change any of facts I’ve been posting. Feel free to crawl back into the swamp – I’m going to continue to evolve.

Just love how you keep side stepping the questoin about Obama’s $4.5 trillion debt. I wouldn’t feel so bad about the spending had he spent it on something that would help the masses, but he didn’t (other than roads). Hopefully the balance in power will bring compromise. I doubt it though if they have attitudes like yours: my mind is made up, don’t confuse me with the facts.

What did the President say the other about “coming along but sit in the back?” The arrogant one will get what’s coming to him in 2012.

So, “liberals” aren’t a part of the “American public” that they are aren’t listening to? 4 years ago, the American public ousted the Republicans. This year, they ousted the dems. Honestly, I don’t think the American public knows what they want. The “American public” is fickle and to claim that they are rejecting the policies of either side is conjecture at best, but wishful thinking would be a more accurate description. The “American public” is solidly in “the middle” politically and will reject any policy that pushes us too far to the left or right.
