Just after the polls closed tonight, it remained to be seen how close the race for the position will be, but Assistant St. Louis County Attorney Mark Rubin is not considered as big an underdog as his opponent, Melanie Ford, was four years ago, when she won the position over longtime incumbent Alan Mitchell.
